Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 29th June 2026

Business Name: PulpTech

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of PulpMiner, a product of PulpTech. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Description of Service

PulpMiner allows users to turn webpages into structured APIs by extracting data and returning it in JSON format. Users may provide custom JSON templates or let our AI generate them.

2. Eligibility

To use PulpMiner, you must be at least 13 years old. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Account and API Usage

Each API endpoint is unique to the user. Abuse, misuse, or exceeding the rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content and data you provide. You must ensure that the use of any third-party website data complies with applicable laws and their terms of service.

5. Prohibited Uses

6. Intellectual Property

PulpMiner and all related intellectual property are owned by PulpTech. Users retain rights to their submitted templates but grant us a license to use them for service delivery.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms.

8. Pricing and Billing

Pricing is displayed clearly on our Pricing page. Your purchase grants you credit-based access to our services, which may be used until exhausted.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality.

10. Limitation of Liability

PulpTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use PulpMiner.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes implies your acceptance.

12. Google Sheets Add-on

The following additional terms apply to users of the PulpMiner Google Sheets Add-on:

a. Permissions and Access

By installing and using the Add-on, you grant PulpMiner limited access to your Google Sheets data as necessary to perform the service. This includes reading URLs from your specified cell range and writing extracted results back to your spreadsheet. We do not access, read, or modify any other data in your spreadsheet.

b. OAuth Token Usage

The Add-on transmits a short-lived Google OAuth access token to our server solely so that our backend can write extraction results to your spreadsheet via the Google Sheets API. The token is held transiently for the duration of the extraction job (maximum one hour, aligned with Google's token lifetime), is explicitly deleted immediately after the job completes, and is never written to logs, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than writing your extraction results. You may revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions settings.

c. Data Processing

URLs you submit through the Add-on are sent to our servers for extraction processing. HTML content fetched from those URLs is sent to the paid tier of the Google Gemini API to be converted into the structured columns you define. Extraction job data (URLs, OAuth token, job status) is temporarily held in our systems for up to one hour and automatically deleted once the job completes. Data received from Google Workspace APIs is not used to train or improve generalized AI/ML models.

d. Credit Usage

The Add-on uses the same credit-based system as the main PulpMiner service. Each URL processed through the Add-on deducts credits from your account balance. Credit costs are displayed in the Add-on sidebar before extraction begins.

e. Fair Usage

The Add-on is limited to processing a maximum of 1,000 URLs per extraction request. Attempting to circumvent this limit or using the Add-on for automated bulk scraping beyond intended use may result in account suspension.

f. Availability

The Add-on depends on Google's infrastructure and our backend servers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for failures caused by Google service outages, token expiration, or network issues.

g. Uninstallation

You may remove the Add-on at any time via Google Sheets (Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons). Removing the Add-on revokes all permissions. To delete your account data from our servers, contact us at hello@pulpminer.com.
